Des Moines Register political reporter Tom Beaumont writes, “Sarah Palin would be wise to wage a full-fledged campaign for Iowa’s leadoff nominating caucuses if she runs for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, strategists for six GOP presidential campaigns said on the eve of her scheduled trip to West Des Moines today.”
