Woolson Selected for Communications Position at Republican National Convention in St. Paul

Eric Woolson, owner of The Concept Works, has been selected as a professional volunteer for the Communications and Media Affairs Division of the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn.

Woolson is working his third consecutive Republican National Convention.

The former Iowa communications director for the George W. Bush for President Campaign in 2000 served as the international media coordinator at that year’s Republican National Convention in Philadelphia. One of 150 professionals on the 2004 RNC communications team in New York, Woolson coordinated television and radio interviews with media in Midwest battleground states.

This year, he will direct the 30-person team that escorts key surrogates around the convention and connects them with the media. The convention will take place from Sept. 1-4 but Woolson will be on site for the week preceding the convention through the final gavel.
