Pawlenty Visits Central Iowa on May 3-4

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who formed a presidential exploratory committee on April 11, will visit several central Iowa communities on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pawlenty will meet with Republican activists in Ames at the Pizza Ranch, 1404 Boston St., at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. He will hold a Dallas County town hall meeting at the Adel Public Library, 303 S. 10th St., Adel at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Both events are free and open to the public.

Pawlenty will speak to the Westside Conservative Club, which meets at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Machine Shed Restaurant, 11151 Hickman Road, Urbandale. The club welcomes guests.

Pawlenty will be a guest on the Simon Conway Show on WHO Radio, 1040 AM, at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.

During his two terms as governor, Pawlenty used innovative and conservative leadership to balance the state’s budget, cut spending, reform health care and improve schools without raising taxes. Under his leadership, Minnesota has nation-leading health care, the highest school test scores, and a leading economy.
