Brownell on Deace Show, warns of collective bargaining dangers

Polk County Supervisor Robert Brownell appeared on WHO Radio’s Steve Deace Show Thursday afternoon to warn Iowans that legislative Democrats’ vote for broad changes in the state’s long-established collective bargaining laws will push property taxes higher.

Brownell noted that 100 percent of the House Democratic caucus voted for the changes. He predicts Iowans will remember the vote when they go to the polls in November and hold Democrats responsible for increasing the tax burden on Iowa families, businesses and senior citizens.
