Woolson Selected for Communications Position at Republican National Convention in New York

Eric Woolson, owner of The Concept Works, has been selected as a professional volunteer for the Communications and Media Affairs Division of the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York City.

He will be one of 150 communications professionals from federal, state and local governments and the private sector to provide assistance to approximately 15,000 media representatives expected to provide coverage of the Republican National Convention.  He is expected to be in New York from Aug. 28 to Sept. 3.

Woolson, who was the Iowa communications director for the George W. Bush for President Campaign in 2000, served as the international media coordinator at the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia.

“It’s a tremendous honor to serve at the convention that will re-nominate President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney and to assist members of the media as they report that important story to the nation and the world,” Woolson said.

Woolson founded The Concept Works, a West Des Moines public and government relations firm, in 2002.  The firm recently moved to a new location at 1001 Office Park Road, Suite 121, West Des Moines
