LYDON JOINS THE CONCEPT WORKS AS PROJECT MANAGER

OCTOBER 3, 2005 – Michele Lydon has joined The Concept Works as a project manager. 

 Lydon graduated magna cum laude from Drake University in May 2005, majoring in public relations.  She has interned at the Central Iowa Chapter of the American Red Cross where her duties included writing press releases, grant applications and newsletter stories; creating media kits and fund-raising postcards and fliers; and assisting with event planning.  She also interned at CGPR/Beach Publicity, a London, England public relations firm.

Her volunteer activities include teaching underprivileged students how to use computers and become “digital citizens” through electronic government participation.

“Michele is new to the public relations profession but her background and areas of interest will give The Concept Works a new dimension and perspective that is bound to make us a better company internally and, most important, for the clients we serve,” company owner Eric Woolson said.

The Concept Works, a West Des Moines, Iowa, firm, specializes in government, public and media relations and crisis management for corporations, associations, government entities and political clients.
