‘CYCLING FOR A CURE’ RIDER MAKES RETURN APPEARANCE IN CLIVE AS CROSS-COUNTRY RIDE PASSES HALFWAY POINT

JULY 3, 2005 – Tyler Weig, the Ankeny, Iowa, resident who is bicycling across America to raise funds and public awareness about cancer research, education and services, will be passing through central Iowa July 4-5.

He will attend an outdoor barbeque at noon, Tuesday July, 5, at the American Cancer Society, 8364 Hickman Road, Clive. Weig has pedaled from the Oregon coast and across the Rocky Mountains to America’s heartland as he carries his important message. He’ll finish in Virginia Beach, Va., in late July.
